Podcast 141: Konstantin Bessonov

Konstantin Bessonov is a sound and performance artist based in Hamburg, Germany. Together with dance companies like MuddyBoots and Liv Harley, he presents bold answers to questions asked by space and body in a contemporary club and theater context. He is also a co-founder of 4fakultaet and KONFERENZ, two concert series taking place in Hamburg where improvisation cuts to the bone of genre and style definition. Together with Phil Struck, he is co-running and curating the label/platform Stoffe for sound and art experiments which will launch in summer 2018. In a mix for us, he blends rhythm experiments in drowned patterns, grained synths and muted guitars.
